E•ƒ(ec)tive Apple Awards: Each month of the school year students, parents and coworkers nominate teachers exhibiting excellence in teaching. The winning nominee, per month, receives a $500 cash prize. Cash prizes are sponsored by YouthPower 365.

E•ƒ(ec)tive Speaker Series: Speaking events hosted for the community highlighting education topics and successful graduates of Eagle County Schools. Beginning this year, E•ƒ(ec) is partnering with the Vail Valley Partnership to bring speaking events to our local high school students offering additional and enhanced curriculum.
E•ƒ(ec) Directed Giving: This program provides resources for schools to host easy fundraising campaigns, primarily to raise funding for staff, however; can be coordinate to raise funds for any initiative or campaign you would like to run. Contact EFEC to learn more about how EFEC can help you to raise funds for your school.
E•ƒ(ec) Academic Equity Grants: Every August principals, school communities, and teachers can apply for grants. Since 2012 over $70,000 has been granted providing primary literacy support, counseling services, AVID tutors, STEM curriculum and materials, teacher support services, technology, and curriculum access.
E•ƒ(ec) Summer School of Rock Camps: These week long summer camps provide high quality, low cost music instruction to Eagle County school students and raise money for the E•ƒ(ec) Arts & Music Grants program. The E•ƒ(ec) Arts & Music Grants program is administered in conjunction with the E•ƒ(ec) Academic Equity Grants and donates funding to Eagle County K-12 public school arts and music programs.
E•ƒ(ec) Bots for Kids: This semester long program brings technology to the hands of Eagle County Schools’ elementary school boys by building cars, sailboats, scales and more using “Simple and Moterized Machines” Lego sets. Through hands on construction boys implement mechanisms used in Robotics, including pneumatics, gears and balance. The program is also available to girls and mixed groups upon request.
