Over the past 19 years, the Education Foundation of Eagle County and its predecessor organization have hosted the Evening of the Stars event honoring our local teachers. Last year was the first year as an off year, primarily due to the prevailing economic conditions.

Join us for an event in partnership with Walking Mountains on September 26th at 6:30pm. Dr. Jon Kedrowski – Eagle Valley High School graduate, acclaimed author, and world class mountaineer will be here to share tales of his journeys and experiences as they relate to the world of business. He will also be on hand to sign his new book, Sleeping on the Summits: Colorado 14er High Bivys. A benefit for the Education Foundation of Eagle County – EFEC has earmarked the funds raised at Jon’s speaking event to send Eagle County school children who have not yet had the opportunity to participate, to a Walking Mountains educational experience.
