Lego Supplies for RCHS STEM

Congratulations to Kendall Van Valkenburg, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Enrichment Teacher at Red Canyon High School, for receiving an EFEC Classroom grant to help supply materials for the Lego-Masters Friday English/STEM class.

“Thank you for donating these amazing legos that we’ve used for Quarter 2 at Red Canyon High School. In our Lego Masters class, we are building legos that align with the Lego Masters television series. We have explored Space, Movie Genres, and items “cut in half.” We’re telling stories with our builds that capture our imagination. We love the hands-on activities allowed by these legos. Working with the legos is calming, fun and expands our creativity. This also helps us learn the elements of a story and solidify our learning in a fun way.
