P.E. Heart Monitors for EVHS

A huge heart-pulsing congratulations to Mike Garvey, Eagle Valley High School Physical Education Teacher, for monitoring the success of the P.E. students with the help of an EFEC Classroom Grant! Way to keep kids’ hearts in the game with newly purchased heart monitors!
“Thank you, EFEC! We are fortunate to have heart rate monitors for our Individual and Dual Sports class at Eagle Valley High School. Unfortunately, they are expensive to replace and have a lifespan of a few years. Thanks to EFEC we have been able to continue to provide a heart rate monitor for all 30 of our students across 5 classes. Heart rate monitors allow students to see exactly how hard they are or are not working in class. Students are challenged to meet daily goals based on their heart rate.
