Science Olympiad for BMHS STEM

Congratulations to Valeria Roberts’ STEM Enrichment Program at Battle Mountain High School for receiving an EFEC Classroom grant to help provide BMHS Science Olympiad Entrance Fees and Helicopter Kits.

“Battle Mountain High School started a Science Olympiad team two years ago. The first year started with 14 students, and last year the program grew to 24 students. To accommodate these students, we have to register two teams which costs $175/team. Additionally, in the past two years, we have not been able to make our aircraft fly. We would love to buy a kit to help us place higher in this event. We are a fully self-funded club and do not receive financial help from BMHS, so we appreciate any amount!” - Valeria Roberts
