Trades Program for RCHS

Building dreams! Huge congratulations to Robert Hanson and Red Canyon Alternative High School for hammering out a win with an EFEC Classroom Grant! This grant is to lay the foundation for their brand-new Construction Trades Program, setting students up for a future built on success. 🛠️

The Construction Trades program at RCHS is a dual enrollment collaboration with Colorado Mountain College and the National Center for Construction Education and Research. NCCER's Core Curriculum is the framework used, with traditional bookwork exams coupled with hands-on training and evaluations.

The goal of the program is for students to earn high school credit alongside college credit while obtaining a construction trades certificate.
