Visual & Kinesthetic Geography Rug

Congratulations to Georgina Robbins, 3rd grade teacher at Red Hill Elementary School, for receiving an EFEC Classroom Grant for a hands-on, visual, and kinesthetic way of learning geography and celebrating our differences.

“I cannot thank you enough for the grant you gave me to buy resources to enrich my 3rd Grade geography lessons about the continents and oceans.

All of the new resources have given them a WONDERFUL hands-on learning experience. The children have LOVED completing the wooden puzzles and playing 'world detectives' using the mini globes. The rug has also been a HUGE success. The children have had a FABULOUS time labeling the continents and oceans, as well as playing games using the rug.
